Blog #1: A little bit about me

So who the hell is Caity anyway? Well, that’s me! I’m 24 years old, I live in Newburgh, Maine for the time being (see my little jab at Maine’s zip code 207 at the right hand side of the page), and I have a fascination with all things media.
For the past many years I was living in Chicago, having moved there for college when I started at Harrington College of Design for Interior Design, I really super hated that major so after I received my Associates of Art, I hightailed it out of there and up three flights to Harrington’s Digital Photography department. I already had a deep love for photography, but it was there that I honed and tuned my creativity, and learned the means to make my thoughts into reality.
Sadly things didn’t work out for me in Chicago, and I’m temporarily in Maine with my family until the skies look blue and the birds start singing again, and then who knows where I’ll go. Maybe back to Chicago, maybe California or one of the flat states… that remains undecided, and that’s pretty much just the way I like it.
There isn’t much else to know about me other than my major inspiration in everything I do is music. Whether I’m shooting a live concert, writing, creating art or just thinking, music inspires almost every avenue in my life, and it comes across in a lot of what I do. I’ll go further into these types of things in another blog, I suppose, for now we can leave it at that.
